It hardly seems like the last season has finished but the squad gather again to prepare for the new season this week.

Head coach, Will Knight, is looking forward to working with the squad again and has great hopes for the coming year.

"We finished last year really well, there was a tangible change in attitude from Christmas onward lead by the players and supported by the coaches."

"I think that there is a much greater belief and expectation in the squad this year. We are targeting the top end of the league and are serious about pushing for promotion."

"The squad has grown in depth over the last few years and we have recruited well over the summer with some quality players coming in to challenge for places, in addition there are a raft of players who have graduated from our hugely successful academy programme who will all be in the mix challenging for places."

"We have also extended our coaching team, with Jon Barfoot coming into the group. I am also delighted to say all last season's coaches are still involved with Rob Davey taking a backs /attack coach role and Lewis Osborne taking over as Dolphin's Head Coach assisted by Pete Living as a player coach."

"Dylan Raubenheimer will continue to develop the forwards with Des Beirne utilising his vast experience in a skills development role."
