Preseason so far has been really positive. We have had huge numbers training and along with all the squad from last year we have some real quality in those that have joined the squad.

The game at Hinkley was our first taste of level 4 opposition and they were a tough and well drilled outfit. We exploded out of the blocks and scored some excellent tries and when they came back there was no panic and the decision making by the players on the field gave us the opportunities to win the game. It is an exciting time and lots of players are putting their hand up for selection.

Obviously the injury to Reuben is very tough and he will be out for a while. I am hoping Craig will recover more quickly.
