Havant recorded a win at a very competitive Salisbury in their last pre-season run out.
After a lacklustre first period where the visitors got off to worst possible start conceding 2 tries within the first 5 minutes the Hooks Lane outfit steadied themselves and with tries from Dan Mundham, Joel Knight and newly re-signed Havant favourite Steve Cruddas. They went in at half-time trailing 24-17.
In the second half Havant settled and outscored their hosts 4 tries to 1 from Grant Morris, Justin Powell new signing Joe Davis and skipper Joel Knight for his second.
Next week Havant start their league campaign against Chobham at Hooks Lane 3pm KO.
