Another convincing win for a Dolphins side with a number of changes as they reach 46 players used in 8 games for this league campaign. Kyle MacDonald and Freddie Hayes came in on the wing and both added to the try count. Charlie Wright returned at Hooker and added one to the count. Will Saunders, joined Will Double in the second row with Will Brook going to flanker; and added a try to his Dolphins debut. Jacob Ashworth at 8 this week added another. Will Perry at outside centre got across the line as well. When he was substituted by player/coach Joe Moore the backs put together a move that saw Joe in for his 2nd try in two appearances out of the technical zone. Tom Gwyther at fly half rode the targeted shorts and used Robbie Humes well served up ball to set off the attacks. However Man of the Match Captain Rory Penfold at full back ran in 5 tries!. Harry Rabjohn kicked 10 conversions from 13 attempts, but missed the one after his own try.
Props Nick Stoffel and Alex Hankins held the scrum rock steady and Alfie Wainscoat at flanker was able to make an impact. Will double made some great breaks interlinking with the backs. Jack Ward-Golden and Keaton Leyland-Jones brought their double barrels off the bench and made an impact. 13 tries 10 Conversions 85 points to Trojans 19.
Bigger test in the coming weeks as the Dolphins go to sea with first a trip to 2nd placed Sandown & Shanklin and then Guernsey the following week.
