Dolphins away to Eastleigh Pirates is always a challenging game and this was certainly true today. Heavy pitch and a much changed team presented a potential derailing of the Dolphins campaign. Chris Buckett off the wing at centre won Man of the Match for his performance. The lineout failed to function well and with no consistent platform and handling errors the slick performance of last week had gone missing. However; the team knuckled down and gave a dogged performance to secure a 35-19 victory and another 5 points for the league table.
Braces of tries for winger James Wise and fullback Rory Penfold. James Blackwell added one for the forwards. Harry Rabjohn at 10, in a very changed back line, kicked 5 from 5 conversions. Will Double once again put in a dominant performance, before he took a Yellow Card for the team.
A lot to work on this week before game 12 against Bognor 12:00 KO at The Lane next Saturday.
