Dolphins dominated the first half with a 36-0 lead at the half time whistle thanks to tries from hooker Kelton New (2), full back Rory Penfold, number 8 Archie Carter-Humphries (2) and scrum half Freddie Hayes. Great to see Kelton, playing his last game for Havant, on the score sheet with a brace. Will Double was running free on occasions and Harrison Chalk was knocking them down in defence. A welcome return of prop Jarod Leat saw the pack dominant and lock Joe Nolan was putting in big hits.
In the second half mistakes by Dolphins and a determination to clear the zero off the board by Bognor saw them come back strong. Dolphins also found the referees interpretation of the tackle zone difficult to manage and turned the ball over with far too many penalties. However, Archie added his third, before he got a yellow card, and Rory added his second. Archie's performance was enough for him to get man of the match.
Fly Half Harry Rabjohn kicked 5 of the 8 conversions.
Final score 50-24.
Now for a break before the away game to Gosport on 4th January.
