Sunday saw Havant women travel to Yeovil for their final away game of the season. The conditions were tricky after a lot of rain but the chosen 18 weren’t put off. The first half of the game started with some difficultly for Havant against Yeovil’s dominant pack, but it didn’t take long for top try scorer, Cerys Ralph, and winger, Nina Hoadley to find some space and dot the ball down over the line. Captain, Natasha Bullock nabbed a try after a storming run while plucky flanker, Rebecca Vaughan-Woods, and center, Sam King, collected some points of their own before the half time whistle. Havant went into half time leading 29-10.
The second half started with another score from Sam King before Cerys Ralph (always too fast for the opposition) found the try line 3 more times! Yeovil weren’t given a single opportunity for points and, despite being down to 14 after losing tight head prop, Katie Casey, to a yellow card, Havant were on the attack. Natasha Bullock scored again, followed by a brilliant try from Abi Pearson, who had also collected herself 10 points off the tee. Cerys Ralph hammered the final nail into the coffin with Amy Brittan converting leaving Havant bonus point winners at 72-10.
