If an injury occurs during any rugby activity that results in a hospital visit the physio/first aider should report this to John Lord (Havant Medical Director) and Sandra Mowat (Havant Rugby Safe Lead)
The physio/first aider should also update the team manager and head coach of the relevant team to ensure they reach out to the injured player to follow up on their injury.

If the injured player requires an overnight stay in hospital the physio/ first aider completes the RFU serious injury reporting form as soon as they are made aware.

Havant Rugby Safe Lead will forward details of any injury that requires an overnight stay and/or long term injury to the board in order for the appropriate support to be offered.
